Membership in the Society provides many opportunities for those people around the world who share enthusiasm for "The World's Greatest Entertainer." Full members receive two Jolson Journals annually -- one in the spring and one in the fall -- plus periodic newsletters concerning the latest activities of the Society. Each Jolson Journal contains 60+ pages of stories and rare photographs of Al with many additional interesting articles written by members of the Society. To add to the enjoyment, each issue includes special features, such as:

• Members Speak Out -- editorial comments of members who wish to have a voice on issues concerning policies of the Society

A convention is held each year in a major city of the United States or overseas, usually in the spring. Some regional chapters hold local festivals during the year but on a date that does not conflict with the annual convention. All events offer a fantastic opportunity to meet other Jolson fans from around the world and to enjoy the nostalgic great era of Al Jolson.
